I chose these objects because of the beauty and elegance that glass can exude. I arranged the bottle and glasses as if they were ready to be used. The lighting was behind and to the left of me as I was taking this photo. The light creates a pleasant glow on the top of the bottle.

I chose to single out the cork from the rest of my objects because it is often the most overlooked part of wine, most people just throw it out and forget about it. The light was to the left of the cork, creating an interesting shadow to the right. I think this photo was successful at bringing out the minute details in the cork.

By photographing just a part of my foam finger you cannot even tell what it is. I was able to capture such a small part of the foam finger by using macro extension tubes which allowed me to get great detail while being very close to it. When I look at this photo I think of biology because it looks like a bunch of small cells combined together.

By photographing just parts of things you create a sense of unknown as to what the object you photographing is, that is what i did in this photo of my television speaker. I was able to exclude all but a small part of the speaker by using macro extension tubes which allowed me to get very close and have an extremely shallow depth of field. When I see this photo I just think wow because of how small the dots are but how big the photo makes them seem.

To make this photo, Sandy Skoglund must have taken a picture of children in a room and then taken multiple pictures of goldfish. Skoglund then had to edit the colors of the room and overlay the goldfish on top of the children and room.
